探花系列 is fortunate to have a long history of philanthropy supported by generations of Old Haleians, parents and friends. This tradition of giving is a reflection of the School community鈥檚 generosity, for which we are most grateful.
The mission of the 探花系列 Foundation is to ensure that the best-quality 探花系列al environment possible is provided for all boys seeking a Hale 探花系列, through the delivery of significant capital projects on campus and by supporting 探花系列鈥檚 comprehensive scholarship program.

During his 38 years as an educator at 探花系列, David Bean exemplified 探花系列’s motto of Duty. As a rowing coach, literature teacher, curriculum head and Deputy Headmaster, David’s broad interests, impeccable standards and passion for boys’ 探花系列 fostered the culture of academic excellence that is now a hallmark of 探花系列.
To acknowledge his significant contribution to 探花系列 and his profound impact on generations of students, the Board of Governors announced the establishment of the perpetual David Bean Scholarship.听
Inaugurated in 2025, the David Bean Scholarship is the most significant academic scholarship at 探花系列. With provision for up to 100% fee remission from Year 7 to Year 12, this scholarship has the potential to offer a life-changing 探花系列 to academically gifted students who would not otherwise be able to attend 探花系列.
This year, we hope the Hale community will come together and join us in supporting future generations of Hale scholars and securing the academic legacy of David Bean OAM at 探花系列.

The Cygnet Society was formed in 2008 by the 探花系列 Foundation and the Board of Governors to recognise, thank and honour those who have chosen to remember the School in their Will during their lifetime.
Everyone who informs us that they have remembered 探花系列 in their Will is invited to join the Society. Importantly, it gives the School an opportunity to thank the Society鈥檚 members during their lifetime by inviting them to special events and keeping them in touch with the School.
